Seminole EMS holds first annual summer camp

Seminole EMS holds first annual summer camp

Seminole EMS will be holding our first annual Summer Camp this year. Our
camp this year will be open to students ages 8-14.

Camp will be held the week of July 8th through July 12th. At the conclusion of
our camp on the 12th, there will be an awards ceremony. All parents and family
members are invited to attend. Both the camp and awards ceremony will be
held at the EMS station, next to the Hospital.

We will have several members of our staff that will be conducting this camp.
Children will learn about what it is like to be an EMT or Paramedic as a career.
They will also learn many life saving skills. Our curriculum will include, but not
limited to CPR, First Aid, and Stop The Bleed. We hope that they will never have
to use these skills in everyday life, but if they do they will be prepared. We will
also have various activities planned through out the camp .

We are currently taking applications. These may be picked up at the EMS station
located at 205 NW 8th. The cost for this years camp will be $25 per child. This
cost will cover a camp t-shirt, and snacks for the week.

If you have any questions, or would like more information please contact us by
phone, or stop by the EMS station.

 Thank you,

Seminole EMS
