Reopening of Seminole Schools

Seminole ISD is excited to welcome everyone back to school on August 13, 2020. Guidance from TEA will be followed by Seminole ISD as we plan for and implement the reopening of school for the 2020-2021 school year. We are thankful for a community that understands any challenges or changes in normal school routines that are being made with the safety of students and staff in mind. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these new circumstances.
We are committed to making the most informed decisions that we possibly can; that encompasses not only official, timely, and relevant guidelines from our State Leaders but input from our Seminole ISD Family. We will continue to closely monitor the spread, recovery, and nature of the virus both at a national and local level.

Please note that details are subject to change based on guidelines from local, state, and federal authorities.  As adjustments may be necessary throughout the coming school year, it will be our priority to keep the community informed of those changes and updates. The Seminole ISD website will provide you with the most up-to-date information.

What instructional options will be available?

Returning to In-Person Learning | Notification Deadlines

Once the virtual option is chosen, the student must remain with that option until the end of that six-week grading period. Parents must inform the campus of the student’s return to in-person attendance by the deadlines listed below.

Changing options frequently may have a negative impact on a student’s ability to receive credit for the course as well as their academic success.
