Seminole ISD is thrilled to recognize Mrs. Salas as a Teacher of the Month, celebrating the warmth, leadership, and genuine care she brings to the Primary campus.
Colleagues describe her as someone who lifts others up and pushes the whole team forward. One staff member shared, “Mrs. Salas is a wonderful friend who supports and uplifts those around her. What makes her truly special is that she wants success, not just for herself, but for all of us on her team and on her campus.”
In the classroom, her personality shines. She keeps learning lively, and her students respond with enthusiasm. As one coworker put it, “Even though she looks serious, she has fun and she truly enjoys being a teacher. You can tell her students love her, all the co-workers love her. She’s just a really amazing person.”
Beyond instruction, Mrs. Salas has become a trusted leader among her peers. An administrator noted, “She came in as a new teacher a couple years ago and just immediately I saw her leadership skills. She’s a great listener and she wants what’s best not only for our kids but for our staff as well.” That commitment has helped shape a supportive, collaborative environment on her pod and across the campus.
Receiving the honor was meaningful for Mrs. Salas, who expressed heartfelt gratitude: “I'm very grateful to receive this award out of all the great teachers we have here at Primary. It was an honor to be recognized… I’m grateful to be part of this Primary family and just truly honored to work here for Seminole.”
