COVID-19 Safety Protocols for 2022-23 School Year

Seminole ISD is committed to protecting the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The District COVID Committee, Nursing Staff, and Campus/District Administration are monitoring any outbreaks of COVID-19 on campus or school premises. Seminole ISD will continue to work with local and state health officials on this effort.

Health & Wellness:
The return to school presents the risk of increased numbers of students and staff contracting contagious illnesses. We hope you’ll respect other students by keeping your child home when they are sick. We will continue to monitor illness in our schools on a regular basis.  As a reminder, individuals that test positive for COVID-19 should isolate for 5 days from the onset of symptoms. They should not return to school until they are fever-free and symptoms are improving. Individuals that are exposed to contagious illnesses, including COVID, should take precautions. I am confident our families will continue to do their part to keep everyone safe and healthy.
